The right-angle pulse valve is a primary component in the baghouse pulse valve cleaning system. Its defining feature is the 90-degree angle between the air inlet and outlet, designed for direct installation on the air manifold (air tank) to control the compressed air used for filter bag cleaning.

It functions based on the principle of pressure differential. Compressed air enters the rear chamber through an orifice, forcing the diaphragm to seal the outlet. When the solenoid pilot is activated, the air in the rear chamber is exhausted, causing the diaphragm to lift and allowing a powerful burst of air to discharge through the right-angle outlet.

This baghouse pulse valve type is favored for its high displacement and rapid response time. The right-angle structure makes mounting and maintenance on the air tank very convenient, providing a robust cleaning force that effectively clears dust with minimal air consumption.

The main disadvantage is the pressure loss encountered as air turns 90 degrees within the valve. Furthermore, it requires precise threaded connections during installation; any misalignment can result in air leakage or mechanical stress on the manifold interface.

It is extensively applied in pulse-jet baghouses for industries like cement, metallurgy, chemicals, and food processing. It is the preferred choice for environmental protection projects where external air tank installation is necessary for efficient dust removal.
