Xiechang® Submerged Pulse Valve Technical Guide
1. What is a Submerged Pulse Valve?
A submerged pulse valve is installed directly inside the air manifold (gas box). This “embedded” design minimizes airflow resistance, allowing the compressed air to enter the valve instantly for maximum cleaning power.
2. Working Principle of Xiechang® Submerged Valves
Managed by a solenoid pilot, the valve operates via pressure differentials. When signaled, air in the rear chamber exhausts, causing the diaphragm (Single for 1″, Double for others) to lift and release a high-velocity air blast into the blowpipe.
3. Drawbacks of Submerged Pulse Valves
Requires precise welding and sealing on the air manifold. In the event of a valve seat failure, maintenance often necessitates depressurizing the entire manifold system.
4. Benefits of Submerged Pulse Valves
Ideal for low-pressure jetting (0.2-0.3MPa), providing a massive airflow volume. Double diaphragm designs in larger models provide enhanced durability and faster response times for heavy-duty cleaning.
